SRO Staff Photo Program

The SRO Photo Program was established in 2009 by the SRO Directors Office. This program normally allows SRO employees to submit up to 4 photos per year to the SRO Photo Committee. Twice per year, volunteer Committee members meet to view and select a limited number of the submitted photos. Selected photos are enlarged, mounted, and hung on SRO walls. Pictures are rotated to various locations in SRO over time. This special Photo program, which is funded by the DO overhead account, allows us to enjoy each others travels, life experiences, and special photographic talents.

Program Rules

  1. Each staff member may submit no more than 2 photos per judging cycle. A separate submission form should be completed for each photo.
  2. Photos may be submitted in digital, slide, or print format. While we will do our best to return non-digital material to the submitter, we cannot guarantee it. We strongly suggest that staff members submit a copy of their original non-digital material, and retain the original.
  3. Photos will be printed in a size of 16 x 20 inches. The judges prefer you crop your own digital photos to fit this format, but it’s not required. Someone on the Photo team may be able to assist you.
  4. Photos must be the work of the staff member who submits the photo. Photos may not be the work of other family members, friends, or any other person. We rely on the honesty of our staff in this regard.
  5. Suggested subjects include, but are not limited to: nature, landscapes, architecture, people, animals, travel, action/sports, creative/artistic. The judges may categorize photos by subject to assist in the judging process.
  6. Photos with objectionable content will not be considered, and such determination is solely at the discretion of the judges.
  7. The decisions of the judges are final, and their deliberations will be confidential.
