Performance Evaluations
We are starting the performance evaluation process for the period of May 1, 2024 – April 30, 2025.
During the first part of the process, all SRO staff will complete the self-evaluation. Together with your supervisor, you will identify an area of focus for the coming year. The area of focus may be related to key job responsibilities, further development of behavioral competencies, or both. Please spread your time (up to four hours) for this activity to your active project accounts. If you have concerns about charging your projects, please talk with your supervisor.
The performance evaluation template can be found on the SRO intranet under Employee Resources\Performance Evaluation. We are using the same form as last year with some refinements based on feedback. Please submit your self-appraisal to your supervisor by Monday, June 16. The template will download with the file naming convention to use: 2025 Last Name, First Name.
As a reminder, we do not expect that self evaluations are comprehensive of everything you have done in the year. Please plan to highlight some key examples that demonstrate your work over the performance period. We do not want the evaluation writing process to be overly burdensome.
After you submit your self-appraisal, your supervisor will meet with you to discuss it before preparing the supervisor’s comments. After the supervisor prepares the comments, you will meet again to review and finalize the evaluation.
SRO will provide all of its finalized evaluation forms to SRC by the end of July. Each subunit director will develop a timeline that fits into the overall SRO schedule. Please work with your supervisor to establish the exact timeline for your individual meetings.
