MSMS Onboarding
The goal of the onboarding and training effort is to provide learning resources, support, and a community of practice for staff who are new to MSMS or returning to an MSMS project after some time.
MSMS Training Resource Hub
This is a Canvas course that will help you become more familiar with MSMS utilities such as DCA, MAP, and PQT. It includes guides for completing common tasks through self-guided study using active learning, such as readings, video-recorded lessons, and self-testing. It is a living resource in the early stage of development and we welcome all feedback and ideas for future materials.
You can self enroll in the Canvas course by clicking this link.
MSMS Glossary
The MSMS Onboarding Glossary defines key terminology used when setting up protocols, teams, and Sample Lines and executing MSMS projects. The glossary is a dynamic document that will continue to be revised and it is intended for all PDMG audiences.
MAP User Manual
The MAP User Manual manual is intended for anyone who needs a general MAP user guide. Although there are numerous similarities, not all MSMS projects are set up exactly the same. The manual does not describe in detail how projects are set up or should operate, so if you have any questions about a project’s protocol or unique features, please contact your project’s tech team lead or the MSMS specification writer assigned to your project.
MSMS for Project Management Chat Forum
This Google Chat Forum is for asking and answering any questions you may have about using MSMS. Anyone can join and there are no dumb questions! It is geared towards non-technical content, such as ‘how to’ questions. If you have technical (project setup or help desk) questions or project-protocol specific questions, they should be asked in the appropriate Slack channel for the project or in team meetings or sent to help desk.
You can self join and choose your preferred notification settings. And requests for more specific instructions/new videos are always welcome!
